Hot Dawwwg it's HOT!

Hot Dawg Days of Summer!

Well, the mid-summer heat sure is here. Al and I have been trying to find ways to stay cool this month.

In doing so, we discovered we like to prepare this spritz to help cool us down. It sure has come in handy this summer. I just made another batch to take with me to Saskatchewan for some family time with my Mom and sister. However she just told me it hasn't gotten hotter than 20 this summer!! Yeiks! I will still be enjoying my visit with her, but really??? 20 C? That's 68 F! Mom said it felt like winter the other day.

Here is the recipe for a nice summer spritz! Try it, you'll like it. For more ideas, be sure to check this site out.

1/4 Cup Rose water
8 drops lavender essential oil
Add these to a small spray bottle shake vigorously prior to use

Summer Fun!

How have you been adding fun into your life this summer? It is an important element to keeping your life in balance. For me, I got out my rollerblades for the first time in ten years! Wow, I had a blast. Al and I both wonder why we waited ten years to do this.

Family Visit

Family Golf Day!

We enjoyed some company of family passing through, so we went golfing , showed them beautiful sights, and had a lot of laughs. I was not sure if I would like golfing, especially since it was the hottest day of the year! But, it turned out I loved it. For me, 9 holes was plenty. Golfing lessons is now on my bucket list!

Bang Meeting!

Rounding up the clients This month's Bang meeting had a couple of guest speakers. Dan Loc and DJ Richoux. They are marketing experts in internet marketing, and helping businesses increase revenue.

They clearly showed that all of us entrepreneurs are really in the client attraction and retention business.

In their discussion, they shared their Marketing Triangle with us. The concept behind the marketing triangle is to help us visualize the components (Retention, Attraction and Optimization) and ideas that help us do those things. better. The main idea was that the key to having lifetime clients is to keep in balance these points:

  • Client Retention
  • Client Attraction
  • Client Optimization

Kamloops Real Estate Meeting

The Kamloops Real Estate Investment Club guest Speaker this month was a local Lawyer, Murray Weeres. Mr Weeres specializes in Real Estate transactions. Mr. Weeres shared some great legal tips for people who invest in Real Estate. Some highlights included these key ideas:

  • Verity the Title search on the property shows both non-financial and financial changes.
  • Make sure you have a contract of purchase and sale for your protection.
  • Ensure you have the important clauses for purchase contracts, although be sure not to have too many as this may kill the deal.
  • If you are looking for a Joint Venture, always have an agreement, identifying the different scenarios you can foresee.

Till next month... Keep laughing... we're sending lots of love
