De Melo's Da News

Happy Mother's Day!

A Great Mother's Day!

We sure hope all the Mom's out there had a very Happy Mothers Day. I was very fortunate that my Mom decided to visit for the weekend.

Greenhouse Work!

We used the time wisely, by shopping, of course, reconnecting, telling stories, working together in the greenhouse and just having a good time.

It was a nice treat to get to spend so much quality time. I really treasure the time I get to spend so much quality time with her. I really am blessed.

Reunion

Dog Family ReunionAfter ten years, Rupert, our dog, has been reunited with his woof-mom and his brother. It is interesting how this was achieved. We found out they were living just across the river from us.

Lucy, the white dog is Rupert's Mom. She has not’t got much time left so this felt so nice to bring them together to play.

In Memory

Al's Mom & Dad in VegasMay was a very tough month for us as we had to say good bye physically to Al's father, Jose De Melo.

He always wanted everyone to be at peace and be happy. Al and I spent much time talking about him, and our great memories of him. We were blessed to have made the time to take his Mom and Dad to Vegas, and seeing them having so much fun together!

We love you Jose and until we meet again in spirit. PEACE be with you!

Take Time for Your Life

Our business coach Beverlee Rasmussen thought it was time to read this book by Cheryl Richardson “Take time for your Life”.

Take Time For Your Life

The gist of the book is, while we all have a very busy life, we must not forget to take care of our own personal self care. Reading this book helped me to realize i am not putting myself first. Work seems to always be more important. I need to make sure I don't keep doing this!

Remember to put yourself first when applicable. If you don't, how can you be available to take care of anyone else? So I have been asking what do I want? What am i choosing to be most important in my life I realize i need to get back to the gym for one.

June brings us Father's Day! Don't forget to do something special for your Dad. Father's Day is the Third Sunday in June! This one, for us, may be a bit difficult, but we will focus on the love and fun memories we have of Jose.

Thanks for your time!

We look forward to seeing you next month. Happy Father's Day to all the great Dad's out there. Hearts and smiles your way!
