Canada Day!!

The heat is on!!!

Well for some places, it seems. Boy it has been very nice on the West Coast, but our friends in the Middle and East Coast have really been suffering! We hope you have been able to find creative ways to keep cool and that you celebrated Canada Day in style!!

Quarterly Seminar

Al and I headed up to our quarterly seminar with our mentor Andrew Barber Starke the owner of ProCoach, which has merged with Anarag Gupta and The Difference Engine principles.

Think! We learned a lot doing the exercises in our meeting. In one scenario, we were working on breaking free from our past. During the exercise, we learned how we have a tendency to make up stories in our lives from the past.

For instance, when I was a teen I remember my dad was upset with me for not doing my chores to his standards. As a result, I believed my whole life that mistakes and failures are bad. I have come to learn that mistakes and failures are actually good and they should be celebrated for the growth they provide. I now have let go of that story.

In a lot of situations, we may take a fact or something that happened to us, and create a big drama in our mind. In order to break free of that story in our mind, we might consider asking ourself “Why did I make it to mean that?" What stories have you made up about your life as if it were true-- and how has it limited you?

Sometimes we may even make up stuff about ourself, others, and the world we live in as if it is true. If you have found yourself doing this, remember... It is just a story you made up. At any time you have the ability to change the story.

Impossible? Never

Have you ever thought something was impossible, but found out later it actually is possible? Studies have shown that most people won't do something or even attempt it, if they think it is impossible to do. People generally don't take action unless they believe it is possible.

This month, you might want to raise your awareness and try to expand your mind and believe that everything is possible! When the impossible becomes possible... you become a believer and miracles can happen..

A Bit of Hawaii!!

This month, our mentors July Ono and Steve Caine put on a great Hawaiian themed networking party "On the Beach Education". Their motto is Living Your Dream: Your life–Your way. We really enjoy spending time with this group of people. We played limbo and other fun games, ate fantastic hawaiian food, watched the Hawaiian dancers and enjoyed fun time with friends new and old. We practiced the art of networking, asking the people about their projects and what we can do to help them succeed.

While at the party, we met Albert Koopman. Mr. Koopman is an experienced and well-rounded, global, businessman, manager and writer for The Fast Track newsletter. The Fast Track Newsletter mission is to educate anyone who is interested in real estate investing. He loves to share is expertiese. .

San Francisco Here I Come?

Al headed to the biggest hydroponics show of the year in the beautiful city by the bay, San Francisco. Although I am NOT sure the universe thought he was supposed to go. Here's a summary of his adventure.

Iin Kamloops, the flight was delayed. Then he missed the Calgary flight. The morning flight was delayed until the afternoon --twice. After having a good laugh he finally arrived Saturday night. If it weren’t for the tools we have learned to employ in our lives, some stress could have easily set in! But instead, he chilled and met some great people on the way. As a result, Al made some amazing new contacts, and has a lot of new ideas to apply in our business.

Have you heard of Acutonics?

If not, let me introduce you to this cool healing art. The Acutonics Healing System is an energy-based non-invasive treatment that is similar to acupuncture. Precision calibrated tuning forks are applied to specific acupuncture and acupressure points to access the body’s Meridian and Chakra energy systems. The core of this work is the acknowledgment of the inter-connections between all things, as above so below, heaven, earth, and humanity are one. Or in the words of the ancient Chinese philosopher Chuang Tzu, "Heaven, Earth and I are living together, and all things and I form an Inseparable unity."

Next month we'll have an update on how the butterflies are doing and our adventures in Las Vegas at CEO Space. Until then...

Love and Laughter your way!
